The sector emerged as the biggest contributor to the fall in benchmark indices due to its significant weightage. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) led the losses with an 8% decline, followed by LTM, Coforge, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys and HCL Technologies.
